Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley assists clients to improve quality of life while safeguarding independence and dignity. We do this by sending reliable, compassionate, and affordable caregivers to the home or wherever seniors call home, to perform whatever services are needed (meal preparation, companionship, housekeeping, medication reminders, guidance with personal hygiene, transportation, and more). We don't require any minimum amount of hours from our clients on a daily or weekly basis and we don't require any long-term commitment. We can do as little as one-hour shifts and you can cancel at any time.

The caregivers from Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley are absolutely incredible. I contacted Cormac when we needed care unexpectedly on a very tight schedule and he sprung into action. He was understanding, compassionate and patient. He supplied exactly the services my family required for my father who has Alzheimer’s when we needed them most. Cassidy and Caroline provided wonderful care early in the morning. They worked patiently with my mother to help get my father through his morning routine as he recovered from his long hospitalization at home. I very highly recommend hiring Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley.

I have the caregiver come in and take care of my apartment twice a week to clean and shape it up. They are convenient and very precise about doing what they say they will. They phone me ahead of time to let me know when they're going to be here and when they can't. They help me do a lot of things. I do the best I can and get the help when I can. I appreciate it when I get help from them.

There are very few (2) really good care providers with very limited availability due to how great they are as they are booked up. Otherwise the providers move household items to new places (with dementia clients), do callouts, need to leave early. Schedulers don't listen to (or need numerous reminders) of things associated with the clients. I praise the 2 great providers, but overall suggest using another comp.
