My caregiver from Home Instead is very good. she helps me with my bath, gets me breakfast, makes my bed, and stays until I go for lunch. I don't think it could be any better.

    Our CAREGivers

    Our main focus will always be making sure our clients receive the highest quality care. That’s why all Home Instead CAREGivers are carefully screened and go through ongoing, comprehensive training. Our best-in-class training program includes in-person hands-on training, ‘live’ interactive Zoom training sessions, and online training using our Empower training system. CAREGIvers can access online training 24/7 on any computer and even their smartphone. We think we have the best training program in the business!

    Our CAREGivers are trained specifically in the area of Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and also receiving additional training on the following topics each month:

  • Safety training on home safety, avoiding injury and falls, and preventing strain and pain.
  • Communication tips including communicating to those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
  • Advanced training on understanding senior illnesses and conditions, depression in seniors, and caregiver stress.
  • Activity training including reminiscing activities, and different types of engaging activities for older adults such as gardening, crafts and hobbies.
  • In addition to comprehensive training, all of our CAREGivers are bonded and insured and must pass a background check and drug screen.

    Finally, our office is licensed by the State of Texas Health and Human Services Department. We adhere to all state regulations, insuring you are provided with quality care from a company you can trust.

    Our Technology

    We believe frequent engagement is essential for seniors, who are becoming more and more isolated. And we now offer a home care tablet as part of our service. The tablet enables us to support our CAREGivers and your loved one with virtual check-ins, and provides games and activities to stimulate and engage. The tablet also allows you to create a secure ‘family network’ and communicate with your loved one by email and audio or video call.
