That in and of itself was such a gift as Mom and Dad's sphere of interactions became more limited. Then, when my dad died suddenly at home, Kath was quick on her feet to know how to protect Mom and ease her transition away from her family home. Truly caring people. You can't beat that.

My 89 yo mother came to live with us. Unfortunately her dementia was rapidly progressing, requiring constant oversight, and we decided to get her into a memory care unit. Aging Wisely with Heartfelt Hands provided excellent caregivers to match her needs and personality during that time. Kath also provided wonderful information and support to help us decide and place her in a facility that works well for her. Having them understand, empathize, advise and assist was critical for our family.

Without Kath, all her employees, including especially, Jennifer, and the Aging Wisely Agency, I would not have been able to care for my father and step-mother from 3000 miles away. Aging Wisely was a godsend in our lives, helping us to troubleshoot and problem solve as our mother declined (with dementia). They were available in so many capacities, first as a consultation as we tried to figure out how to support our mother with health care proxies and other long-term planning, and then, with finding a compassionate memory care facility and navigating the social service systems. Kath was our primary contact and she was AMAZING. When it came time to moving our mother half way across the country, her creative ideas were spot on and helped to make a daunting task into something manageable.
