Hospice of North Central Ohio continues to provide comfort, compassion, and dignity to many patients and families in local communities. Hospice care is available to any terminally ill patient with a limited life expectancy of six months or less. The best time to learn about Hospice is before you or a loved one needs it. Although end-of-life care may be difficult to discuss, it is truly best for family members to share their wishes long before it becomes a concern. This greatly reduces stress and pain when the time for Hospice becomes apparent. By having these discussions in advance, patients are not forced into uncomfortable situations. Instead, they can make an educated decision ahead of time that includes the advice and input of loved ones.
