We received home health care services from universacare through SNAP. We were so lucky to have our caregiver work with our family because they really helped us during a difficult time of need. We loved our caregiver and the office staff were always ready to listen to our worries and issues. We had one big issue with a caregiver that was addressed quickly. We would use universacare in the future for our family.

We received care from this company for approximately 3 months for my mother who couldn't walk, eat, or take a shower by herself. Our caregivers were all so nice to deal with but unfortunately it wasn't a good fit for us. The entire company is very close and we always found it easy to speak with the coordinators, especially Stephanie. Never had an issue and if there was, they always called ahead of time. Highly recommend to anyone looking to keep themselves or their family safe at home.

This agency took care of my mother during her final days with us. Flexible pricing made it easy for us to work with them. Have had serious problems with other agencies in the past. Also they sent their home aide with masks and sanitizer during the pandemic

About UniversaCare

Our story began in 2008, with a vision to provide a higher level of care in the homes of individuals in our community. Caregiving is rooted in the principles of trust and compassion, and those are the exact qualities embodied by our nurses and aides. Finding the perfect fit for a family's needs requires an individualized approach, as each case is different.

UniversaCare's team of highly qualified healthcare professionals includes registered nurses, certified home health aides, dedicated care managers and care ambassadors, and other care specialists—all working together to ensure that your loved one stays comfortably at home, in the most caring, supportive environment. We specialize in:

Experience is key when it comes to in-home nursing. We have a dedicated roster of nurses who specialize in a wide range of treatment procedures:

  • Wound Care
  • Tube feeding
  • Tracheostomy
  • Medication management
  • Private Duty Nursing: Unlike traditional in-home care services, private duty nurses provide one-on-one medical care. They offer skilled care in the comfort of the patient's own home. Private duty nurses are Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).

Case Management: A strong care coordination department is instrumental for a successful home care agency. Our Nurse case managers work close in conjunction with the patient and their family, their primary care practitioner, and other clinicians.

High Tech/Infusion Nursing: Specialized nursing procedures need a high level of precision and attention to detail. We offer our patients the services of registered nurses who specialize in infusion therapy and can offer holistic care in the home.

If you need help performing everyday tasks, our Certified Home Health and Personal Care aides may be right for you. This care is delivered by highly qualified aides who help those who need help with daily activities (i.e. showering, brushing, cooking nutritious meals).

Live-In: When someone needs 24 hour home care, it’s common to think the only option is placing your loved one into a care facility of some kind. Luckily our certified aides offer care services that allow your loved one to remain safe in the comfort of their own home.

Transitional & Discharge: The period immediately following the release from a facility (e.g. Hospital, Rehab) is a crucial phase of the recovery process. Studies show a lack of proper care and support after major events like a surgery can lead to slower recuperation.

Concierge Home Care: We all want to provide the absolute best for ourselves or our loved ones. Whether it is providing PPE for a household, cutting your hair just as you like it, or an in-home spa experience, our concierge home care options provide a more personalized level of care.

Respite: Temporary support (otherwise known as respite care) is meant to free up the time of caregivers so they can rest, run errands, or even just enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The advantages of respite include a wide range of emotional health benefits and generally a better overall relationship with your elderly or disabled loved one.

End-of-Life Support: This phase of caring for a loved one can be emotionally challenging, physically exhausting, and mentally draining. Our caregivers demonstrate compassion and professionalism, all while providing comfort and reassurance during the unprecedented episodes that come with end-of-life care.
