The expeirecnce we had with St, Lukes hospice was terrible. The nurse on our case neglected to keep us updated even after we complained. My father passed away at a local nursing home this month. The nurse was called and gave medication instructions to the facility on Thursday afternoon. Not once did she call us or come to see my father that weekend. Stating the nurses at the facility would not let her in the room. My father passed away that Monday afternoon. Luckily he had childern who cared and did not leave his side from Thursday to Monday. I never even got a after call. Only response was when I called the Case Manager to complain on Monday morning and let them know we wouldn't need there service. Which we did not receive, end of life support. Not in our case. Our past experience with another hospital in Duluth was excellent, they truly were a blessing to both patient and family.
