I was referred for wound care of my left ankle. I presented with a staph infected non debrided wound after a 3 month botched surgery. (My Ortho Dr didn't refer me my family Dr did). As a retired nurse it's very hard to be on the opposite side knowing a loss of limb is possible. This group of people never missed a beat! Wound Dr debrided every other week and the nurses and counselors came 3 times a week. Not one$did my insurance not covered. 11 months and 2 days later I was released and my scar is kinda ugly but my leg is beautiful. Bless all the ones at STAT HOME HEALTH CARE!!!!
