"FirstLight Home Care - Melbourne, FL Melbourne, FL comes in and does the laundry. They make sure my wife gets her medications. They bring our food to us when we're served from downstairs. They make my bed. If we get groceries delivered from a grocery store, they put them away and then they just do anything and everything. I think it's expensive. $40 an hour is pretty steep."

"We started using Patchwork Quilt Companions for my father since March or April of last year. He needed someone with him because he tends to fall and he has no memory at all. They would pick him up and take him usually to places. They would stay with him and then bring him back home. They would stay with him at home or take him to a movie, out to lunch or dinner. They come early in the morning to fix his breakfast if we're not home. Overall, my father and I are very happy with the care he's getting. "

"Aqua Home Care does everything for my parents. They do the cooking, the cleaning, showering, and Sheila even cut my father's hair for me. Everything he needs, she takes care of it. I don't worry about my dad when she's there, she's just a kindhearted and genuine person. She is really great and very attentive to my father. She definitely knows how to keep things in check because my mom has a little bit of mental instability too, but she's been able to handle her as well. Billing and scheduling is fine. I give them their 24-hour care monthly plan, then I just pay them once a month."

"My friend has a caregiver from Visiting Angels. I'm quite pleased with them. We've been using them for over four years now. They provide full-time care, and I've been very happy with the ladies they have provided. They're there around-the-clock 24/7 every day. The management has been great. They're understanding, and very professional. It was a little expensive, but I agreed to the $20 an hour, and that's where we're at."

"I would like to leave feedback on my caregiver Phyllis. She is has been the best companion that I have ever had. She works with this company and really likes it there. The people that work in the office are wonderful. If I call the office and need an extra day the ladies always pull through for me even if it is last minute. I'm disabled and live alone. If it was not for my caregiver I would not be able to go to the store or to my VA doctor. Phyllis helps me with a shower and makes food for me. She is here 8 hours each day except for Sundays. I'm so happy to have this service. It is great for disabled veterans like me."

"I've been using Visiting Homecare since I came out of rehab. They provide personal care showers and all that kind of stuff to me. Medicare is also sending in someone to help go walking and other things, so I'm pretty much covered at the moment. I'm happy and I'm satisfied with them for the most part. It's cheaper than assisted living, but it still costs quite a bit if you need them every day. There's no easy way out of it because I do need assistance to walk, to bathe, and that type of thing."
