"FirstLight Home Care - Melbourne, FL Melbourne, FL comes in and does the laundry. They make sure my wife gets her medications. They bring our food to us when we're served from downstairs. They make my bed. If we get groceries delivered from a grocery store, they put them away and then they just do anything and everything. I think it's expensive. $40 an hour is pretty steep."

"I got Patchwork Quilt Companions for my husband about a month ago. The first caregiver was very good, but the other two were not, so we got the first one back. They provide help in bathing, transfers, fixing his lunch, making the bed, foot care, and doing some laundry. They've been OK."

"Aqua Home Care does everything for my parents. They do the cooking, the cleaning, showering, and Sheila even cut my father's hair for me. Everything he needs, she takes care of it. I don't worry about my dad when she's there, she's just a kindhearted and genuine person. She is really great and very attentive to my father. She definitely knows how to keep things in check because my mom has a little bit of mental instability too, but she's been able to handle her as well. Billing and scheduling is fine. I give them their 24-hour care monthly plan, then I just pay them once a month."

"I am extremely happy that I switched to FirstLight Home Care. My caregiver is always "Johnny on the Spot", which is important to me to have someone reliable. We went to Dr. Phillips hospital the other day and had a parking problem. She handled it with patience and made me feel very comfortable. I also like that FirstLight caregivers have GPS in their car, this helps us not get lost, which happened to me with the old home care agency. I don't like getting lost and being late. If I had the money I would have my FirstLight caregivers here every other day! "

"I've been using Visiting Homecare since I came out of rehab. They provide personal care showers and all that kind of stuff to me. Medicare is also sending in someone to help go walking and other things, so I'm pretty much covered at the moment. I'm happy and I'm satisfied with them for the most part. It's cheaper than assisted living, but it still costs quite a bit if you need them every day. There's no easy way out of it because I do need assistance to walk, to bathe, and that type of thing."
