There were a few good girls and then they left. The care wasn't very good. Most of them just sat in the chair in the living room and they were on their phones. They spilled things and never cleaned up after themselves. The place was just a mess.

They give us the comfort of someone being in the house with him. We know he is safe and the care allows us to keep him in the home. Our caregiver is fabulous. If she is not there, they try to get someone to come in and cover for her.

I had to leave an important meeting to come home because the girl didn't show up. The girl that we had for a short period of time was not reliable. She missed at least a couple times. They could do a better job of having reliable people.

A lot of the caregivers didn't seem to have common sense. They weren't knowledgeable about things. One of them put a garbage can on the counter. We also had a sign that said take your shoes off but they didn't. The actual care wasn't great. We thought they were able to care for her in a better way and they weren't. She had a stoma.

I wasn't happy with the first two caregivers because they came in, sat down, and did nothing. They've sent me three caregivers, and I only liked one. I also think they are expensive for what they do.

They kept having different caregivers. Some were really good, and some weren't really good. We wanted the same person during the day and a different person at night. The first thing was that they didn't fill the slots we needed. One caregiver stayed an hour late until someone else showed up. She had a kid and was worried about babysitting, and it was kind of messy. Other days, they just didn't have anyone there. I wouldn't recommend them.

I think that the workers could be more aware of what they are supposed to be doing. Some come here and they don't know what they are supposed to do. The people in the office can train them better. Some of the help that we have gotten has not been top notch. We feel like the agency could do better.

I am not very likely to recommend BrightStar Care because the caregiver would tell me that the office was not always in communication with them. BrightStar Care could have made my loved one's life easier by having an office staff that communicated better.

I would recommend BrightStar Care because they've been easy to work with, and they are flexible in scheduling. The service has helped with everything. My loved one is completely bedridden, and they're dependent on someone doing everything for them, so everything's easier.
