Caring For Parent is a very good company. My dad is a fall risk, and the caregivers are very good. The coordination is quite good and we are very pleased with them. They are still providing service for us. We are looking forward to continue working with them. Their care coordinator is very good. I think it is a very good company. They work hand-in-hand. From the very beginning, they are already involved. They came and did an assessment which was very good. My dad is very scared walking around. He still walks, but he is very nervous when he is walking. They did an assessment and came up with a care for him, then they interviewed a caregiver. Before that, we had issues with another home care company where they just sent high school graduates, but they didn't even know what they're doing. However, Caring For Parent is very good because they assessed my dad and then they found the right help for him. They are so professional. Every week, the coordinator would send me text messages to see how everything is going. This is an amazing company.

I used Caring for Parent for my father. Eddie is a really good guy. The first girl didn't work out, but he got somebody else in here that came in to watch over my father. However, my father ended up going into the hospital and he died a couple of weeks ago. I thought he (Eddie) really had everything together; he knew what he was doing. The only thing I didn't care for too much is the fact that there wasn't any insurance that I could use, and my father had a few of them like the VA. Eddie had nothing to do with the VA. That would have been a big help. I had to pay for everything out of pocket. So that was the only thing. The services were fine. The only service was having the girl come in. She knew what she was doing to try and help my father, so that worked out well. My father was fine with her. Eddie knew what he was doing; however, he didn't have any connections with insurance companies to help with bills. That was the only thing. He was very nice. All the way from Suffield, he was able to get somebody over here to watch my father for the few days that he was alive. Eddie did a good job.
