Going to Pathways Home Health was a miserable, bad experience. The nurses that I met with initially when we started the hospice care were very informative and very knowledgeable but then somebody else took over. After they checked my mother out, whoever was supposed to pick up the ball after that absolutely fumbled it. The actual hospice care was really bad. They didn’t show up at times and were argumentative with me when I was trying to get in touch with them.

Very pleased with the servies, especially with end of life comfort care offered my wife. Responded well to emergency situations and the staff was well trained and professional.

My mom, with fairly late Alzheimer's, was in an assisted living situation in Palo Alto. The assisted living facility was unable to provide the one-on-one care that my mom needed, so we got in touch with Pathways. They were caring and very responsive. The woman that Pathways brought in to be with my mother was compassionate and helpful -- and more important, able to manage my mother, who has 'fired' innumerable in-home care helpers in the past. When our care provider was unable to accommodate our scheudule, Pathways was great about finding someone else to help us. I was a bit hesitant to use an agency versus looking for someone myself on Craigs List, but Pathways really added a ton of value.
