I hired Comforcare Senior Services. They had a very harsh management team and they had problems staffing occasionally. I had care for my father eight to ten hours a day and Mom was at home on hospice. My brother who was helping them left to go to the store, and my mom called me and said the caregiver wouldn't give her a glass of water because the caregiver doesn't work for her. I called the agency and talked to the manager and they said they can't do that because they had to do an assessment on Mom and get the paperwork in place first. I had to fire them because of the way they handled it. We had a wonderful caregiver, and it was very sad to lose her. She's a CNA. The billing and the paperwork were good. They helped with all the ADLs, transferring, helping with the bathroom, eating, dressing, and bathing, and we had a PT working with the caregivers.
