Maxwell's oversees medical management, arranges home care services, and interfaces as needed with social welfare public agencies. They provides senior care clients with close attention to evolving needs and find creative alternatives when care choices become ineffective. Patricia, as principal at Maxwell's, is conversant with the inevitable arc of dementia and suggests new solutions that help keep older family members in their home as long as possible. I found her especially helpful during emergencies when quick responses were necessary, and in ascertaining the need to change facilities when a loved one was not thriving. Patricia is assertive to a fault in advocating for the patient, and has assembled a crack team in Apryl, Shawna, Barbara and Bob who fulfill distinct roles and balance out the team. I can highly recommend Maxwell's.

I was referred to Patricia M. through an attorney for an elderly gentleman that I was a trustee for and have worked with her for about 3 years. She was instrumental in helping me get his care plan in place as he was showing signs of mild dementia and making very poor choices and decisions. She came just in time as his condition continued to deteriorate and his needs required more attention. I already had a full time job, a family with kids to raise and my own elderly parents to support, so there was an immediate need in figuring out what to do to help him. Having her step in and work to manage in home caregivers, doctor appts., and get a crash course on all things associated with Memory Care was invaluable. She has a great network of resources, a competent team on staff and many years of experience in the health care field, so I was very confident in her abilities. She provided the support system I needed to assist this gentleman during his aging years and I am grateful for all she's done!

I had been trying to manage my mom's health care issues, while juggling work and my family and it was a very stressful time - Patricia came in and took over and really got the right doctors, therapists and care givers in place to manage my mom's complex issues and provided the expertise to navigate the very complicated world of insurance, referrals, medications, billings, etc. If was such a comfort to know that I had someone who was there to support us and guide us. When my mother fell and broke her back, Patricia Player-Maxwell became an invaluable part of my support team. We had to immediately move my father to assisted-living because of his cognitive impairment from a stroke. Then we had to empty out my parents independent living apartment while visiting my mother in the hospital. When my mother had been fully diagnosed she was moved to a skilled-nursing facility near my father. My mother was gravely ill and had given up hope. When we hired Patricia, her years of experience gave me an invaluable resource for reviewing treatment plans, options to consider and emotional support. Patricia helped by making sure the staff knew that we were paying attention to my mothers daily care, intervening when necessary. She also recommended that we begin to help my mother see that if she chose to fight and get well we could help her dreams come true. We hired someone to help my mother assemble her book of poetry to be published for family and friends. In addition, we promised my mother that she would live in her own studio apartment. She would no longer have to care for my father 24/7. I am happy to report that both of my parents are living in an assisted-living facility with 24 hour care.
