After along hard fought battle with cancer, I lost my Father on July 31st. During the last month of his illness, my family was blessed with a wonderful gift....Affinity Home Hospice. Affinity may not be the largest Hospice in the city, however there couldn't be a more genuine, caring group of people anywhere. My Father recieved the best possible care in every area. The nurses were all RN's with many years of Hospice experience. The CNA that my Dad had was highly skilled in every aspect of her job. Having cancer, my Father needed a variety of medical equipment and Affinity dealt with only the best providers. From the nurses, tothe social workers, CNA's, and all the other staff, what impressed my Mom and myself the most, was that with all these people, it wasn't just a job....not just a paycheck. Everyone on their staff had a genuine passion for what they were doing. They never missed an appointment and treated my Father with the utmost dignity and respect. They exibited a genuine love not only to him, but to my Mom and I as well. The day my Father passed from this life into eternity, they were right at his side along with my family. I really don't know what more I can say, other than if your family has a need for this type of care, I cannot reccomend any groupf people more. This sites highest ranking is 5 stars. Sorry, but that just won't do. When it comes to Affinity, there just arn't enough stars in the sky! God bless you all. We appreciate you, we love you ! Steve Skelton and family
