I am a friend or relative of a resident

This is a home based facility. Because Cheyenne is a rather small (70,000) town this is the only adult daycare available. Susan (the owner) is the most caring person, and the elders in her care love it there. My dad has dementia (rather advanced) and he goes there and they do bowling on the Wii and he enjoys spending time with his friends he has made there. She is fully trained in medical emergencies and her home is very clean and "user friendly". However, last month her home caught on fire and thankfully everyone got out and no one was seriously injured. Her husband did have some smoke inhalation but is doing fine now. They have an older home and the wiring caught on fire in the middle of the night. She has already found another place to get set back up and has called my mother several times making sure she is doing ok. She called mom last week and could hear the stress in her voiece so she told mom she was coming to their home to sit with my dad for a few hours so mom could get some relief. and away time She is a very caring person and loves what she does. We all love her (including my dad) and don't know what we would do without her. Mom is the full time caretaker so her alone (down) time is much needed and I am so thankful that she has Young Again to take my dad to where he is treated with respect and like a human being and we know he is safe.
