The Courtyard Apartment Homes is a very nice place and they take low-income people according to your income. My friend who lives there only pays $290 monthly for her apartment because of her income. I was there, I visit her quite often, so I know what it's like over there. It's right by Greenfield Park. It has apartments for other people to rent, but they have special apartments for seniors. She has a nice apartment with a little galley kitchen, a stove, and a refrigerator. It has a nice living room. My friend lives on the first floor and doesn't have a patio, but she has a bay window. She has a nice bedroom and a nice bathroom. The hallways are clean. I've been out the back door where there is a parking space for your car, and underground parking which is nice for winter when you have a car. A lot of places that my son and I looked at didn't have underground parking in the wintertime. There's a locked mailbox and a locked entrance so you can't get in without a key. The people inside have to let you in or buzz you in. It's clean and in a nice area close to all the things like banks. There are two floors and on each floor is a laundry room so that's very convenient. My friend doesn't have any complaints, and she's been there for almost two years already. There are activities but she doesn't participate in some of them because of her walking condition.
