My mom moved to Riverwalk Senior Living and it's very clean. The staff is friendly and caring. The room is small enough for one person. They have meals prepared for them. They have a lot of activities. They have a nice place to see outside the window. They have bingo and card games.

We went to see Riverwalk Senior Living but the manager was not there. So, we did get a tour from another staff member. She was very pleasant and tried to do the best job she could, even though she wasn't the one that we were supposed to meet. The facility was very pleasant. We walked in and the door walked right into the dining area, and that was very impressive. I did not meet the chef, but they prepare all the food there and they do not cater any of it in. The overall appearance was very pleasant. There were rooms where people could work on jigsaw puzzles, there was a workout facility and a lot of common areas. All the common areas had TVs and they were very comfortable places to sit. All of the rooms had nice views of the outside. There was a river near it. There was a paved path that followed the river, so you could access the path from the facility.

Riverwalk Senior Living is a very nice place, but it's not for me. They gave me a very good tour, but I'm looking more for an apartment-style place. I'm more independent but they also stated that you gotta have a care package to be there. They showed me one of the apartments or one of the rooms, it was a single room. The kitchen and living room were together and then has a full-sized bed. If you need help with laundry or whatever you needed, they'll help you with it. My overall tour experience with this facility is excellent. This is an excellent place to go if you're independent, or if you needed help, they can also help you as well. The staff is very helpful; if you need something, they're there to help you. They don't cater in, they do all the cooking themselves. They showed me the kitchen which was a very big kitchen. The building is brand-new; they just opened up last year so they have room. The inside, when you walk in it, it's all very clean and the place is very nice. If you're in-between dependent and not dependent, it's a good place for that. They also have amenities like the laundry room.
