We toured Novation Senior Commons. They have an activities/commons area, and they have an outdoor place where you could do gardening. They have a patio, and you can grill out and things like that. They have an office onsite. It was very clean. The apartments are beautiful and large. We set up an appointment with the person in the office, and she was very nice and polite. She gave us information. The issue that we had was, after we did the initial appointment, it seemed to take forever to get approval. I think it was close to a month and a half. Their office is only open three days a week, and each time I made sure to call on the days they're supposed to be open and during the office hours. I was unable to get a hold of anyone, and I left a message. The first time I left a message, they did call back. The second time I needed to ask them a question, and they never returned my call. It was kind of an issue for me because I want somebody available to be able to get a hold of during what they specify as their hours that they should be there; it was not the case. Because they're independent, the residents make their own food. The staff who assisted me was really nice. Unfortunately, the rest of the process was not good.
