My brother is currently in rehab at Alden Estates of Jefferson. The physical therapy seems great. My brother gets along with them very well. They've been doing great. He's been improving in some things as much as he can. Some of the staff are great, but he had problems with another one. They look like hospital rooms, at least where he was. At least in rehab, they furnish the bed and things, but the doorways were wide. I like that they didn't have narrow hallways like assisted living does. The hallways are wide. Their food, the way my brother talks, and some of the things I saw were pretty good, but he says so-so. They have activities, and it looks like they do a good job there. They did pretty good and answered my questions. I worked with the social worker mostly. In one place they have a little bird for people to notice when they walk by, and they have fish in another place. Only thing is, they lost my brother's clothes; one nurse tried very hard, she found some. I bought them a brand-new pair of just casual slacks, and they can't seem to find them. So, he only got to wear them twice, and never saw them again. So, I'm very disappointed in losing clothes, but I guess that that happens easily.
