My mother moved into Affinity at Burlington. It is just like a 55 and up apartment. They have a pool, a gym, a movie theater and a lot of the things that the assisted living offered, but she could be more independent in her own apartment. The staff is very helpful, very patient, and kind. They don't have meals provided. They do bingo and board games and they have like a pub lunch social, water aerobics, and chair aerobics. They have stuff every day. They do justify the cost because they cover all utilities, internet, cable, and garbage, so she's saving a lot of money. Rent is all they pay, and then everything else is free.
