My mother moved to The Golden Age Retirement Home. It's more of an assisted living and for people who need assistance. They all eat their meals together. They don't have their own kitchens, and there's room for six residents. It's very clean and welcoming and has a lot of light. You come in and there's the kitchen, dining room, and living room area, all right there. They have assistance, and people who are the care providers doing exercises with the residents. I had a good impression when I walked in, and the owner was there and was very welcoming. I met one other staff member and he seemed to be very attentive to the people there. I know they also have one day a week when somebody comes in and does arts and crafts projects with the residents. A couple of other days a week someone also comes in and does music with them. I've also heard that the food is good. My mother has been enjoying it and she's a picky eater.
