Iliff Nursing Home & Rehab Center has been very beneficial for my father. He has recovered many of his functions and strength. They have provided all his needs and he's fed well. They have a library type gathering place, but it's very small. They have a dining area with tables and chairs. It's been a good experience for my dad. It just seems to be crowded. Every room is full and shared. The staff is very attentive and dedicated, but there is no activity coordinator and there are no activities. It's expensive, but not luxurious.

From feces on the floor in the main hallway, that went un touched for over 1.5 hours with staff walking past and around it, to a nurse who tried to give a shot without an alcohol prep, to having to fight to get on the PT schedule, to being given incorrect medicine, to mom loosing 4 pounds in 7 days, to ice being housed in the dirty hallway in an igloo cooler, to a broken bed, to a completely cracked water pitcher that was still being used in rotation, to NO communication between staff, to the lack of empathy and aggression from the nursing and discharge staff, I could go on, this place should be closed down and new nurses and administrators put in place.

My sister was at Iliff for rehab. She was stronger when she arrived than when she was discharged; two days later was back in the hospital. - staff was UNRESPONSIVE to her physical needs. - physical therapy was INADEQUATE. - case worker's voice mail was always full - rooms were dark - phone was out of reach & not plugged in - TV had no remote control After many requests and my follow-up, it took 3 days to resolve the phone and remote issues. - Packages delivered and signed for by midafternoon were brought to her the next day, only after I told her to ask for them. When 2 packages arrived together, staff would only bring one. - there was a $5.00 charge to plug in the phone charger I brought To summarize, the care was insufficient and it was a miserable place to be, making it difficult to recover at Iliff.

I don't like Iliff Nursing and Rehab C because it looks run-down. The rooms are very narrow and dark, and they have two patients per room so it's very packed. They are undergoing renovation, but it looks to me like it's not too clean a place. I saw the food, it's terrible. The rooms lack sunlight and space. The person who toured me around just showed me things superficially, not in detail. I didn't see any other employees except for the tour guide. I saw a patient eating his food, and it looks to me like it's not something you would offer to sick patients.

My grandfather was here and he was in the rehabilitation part of this place. The only possible way to get him out of here was for him to get injured. Your probably asking yourself a question, really you have to be injured to get out of a place that you go to for recovery. Yep! I'm telling the honest truth. The staff here is absolutely great at not working. Horrible, horrible, place I tell you. Nurses are chit chatting and on their phones while the Bells for help are ringing away. Disappointment is running through my mind. If you don't visit your loved one, don't plan on them going outside or getting out of their room because no one will take the time to even come in and ask how they are feeling. It literally took my mom 45 minutes until someone came in to change my grandfather. 45 MINUTES! It's so unbelievable. Recently, my grandfather had been outside of the nurses station. The nurses were supposed to be watching him because he had a stroke and wanted to walk but didn't remember how because he also has Alzheimer's. He somehow stood up and fell out of the wheelchair. They did an X-ray on his knee. Nothing had happened. Throughout the week he complained of pain. They gave him Tylenol but nothing seemed to help. We asked for an X-ray on his hip because he would not put weight on his whole right side and he would groin in pain whenever we moved his leg. The X-ray came back the he had broke his femur bone. They are now going to transfer him to the emergency room. We are hopefully going to try to get him into another rebahilitation center cause this one is just sad. We are hoping to sue them soon. It is just so disgusting how people are so rude and they can't do their job... They shouldn't be getting paid for doing nothing.

My mother was a resident at Iliff Nursing Home for 61/2 years. I am so thankful that she was well taken care of. The staff became her family away from home. They made her feel special. It is true that sometimes the response from the nurses/nurses aids weren't as prompt as we would like it. However we have to remember that they have a very though job taking care of all their patients that are all incapacitated. The staff is adequate and caring. They have lots of activities that my mother used to enjoy . She had the best medical care and I was kept well informed. After a two day stay in the hospital we were told that she needed to go into Hospice care . We decided to take her back to Iliff so that she could be among her own surroundings. She passed away peacefully 11 days later. On my many visits I interacted with some residents and I got positive feedback. I have visited people in other nursing homes and I will say that Iliff is in the top of my list.

Please do not bring your loved one here. I could write a book, but will make it as brief as possible. I trusted them with my grandmothers care, after a tour, and being told they were a five star facility. My grandmother was there 6 weeks and received one bath, never was taken out of bed or dressed (they stole all of her clothing), and treated with aggression and anger right in front of me. This facility is constantly infected with norovirus, etc. My grandmother contracted herpes of her eye, cdiff infection that was neglected so badly that I had to demand an ambulance rush her to the hospital. She had a heart attack that night due to dehydration and sepsis. I moved her to another facility after a week stay in the cardiac unit and she only survived another 6 weeks on hospice care. She could not recover from the condition Iliff allowed her to sink into. I can't tell you how uncaring and incompetent this facility is. Stay away!!!

I want to start out by saying that this place is disgusting. The bathrooms were worse than a gas station bathroom. I had to provide care to one of the clients that live there, and it was awful. My client had her call light left on (I left it on, to see how long it would take for it to get someone) no one ever came, and no one knew whom I was or what I was doing there, so it wasn't because I was present. I never even saw the client's CNA once. You should never treat anyone that way! I observed neglect and flilth on the first day there. Please, do not chose this facility for your friends or family.

We moved my mother at Iliff Nursing Home and Rehab last November. She is in the nursing wing but she has been there for rehab before. It's very close to home. The staff is wonderful. I feel like I have good rapport with them. The rooms are double but some are quadruple occupancy too. There's a curtain in the rooms for privacy. Food is not great but there's plenty of it. You have the opportunity to select your menu with fairly extensive choices. They have programs but my mom doesn’t participate in them so I can't tell what they are.

A horrible experience for my mother and her roommate, both in for rehab. The management are not responsive, and clearly not managing well, and the quality of nursing staff/care was inconsistent. TVs blare all night & day keeping residents awake, mgt. say they don't have authority to do anything. Staff very rarely respond to call button at night. My mother was chastised and made fun of for calling for help going to the bathroom 4 times one night (due to medication,) then chastised & humiliated the next day for having wet the obligatory diaper because she was afraid to call for help. No general information is provided when residents check in about the daily process, schedules, responsible management to contact, etc. The number given to call to request alternate meals doesn't work and no one was ever able to provide the correct one. The promised menu for selecting meal choices never appeared, even after several inquiries. There are no grab bars in the bathroom, accessing the flush handle is difficult, and the side railings are full of pee bottles & bed pans. Rooms have a single wall unit AC/heater that is next to one resident's bed, who controls it. One resident is cold, the other hot. Wheelchairs in short supply and not available for use. Told mother had been evaluated for OT, but hadn't been. One entrance patio occupied by smokers, so not available for non-smokers. It seemed apparent that their intention is to keep rehab patients for as long as possible...$$$. I found later the facility and its doctor are known among doctor's offices and home nursing companies as poor performers who are difficult to work with. Many of the nursing staff were very kind & attentive, and facility cleanliness generally was very good, but overall an unpleasant, poorly managed place. How they win awards is beyond me --standards must be very low indeed/
