I recently visited my mother. She is a retired teacher. A sweet kind nurse came up and took my mother's face in her hands and kissed her cheek. She said she knew her from her teaching days and just loved my mom! She didn't see me at first or know I was a relative. My mom smiled and seemed happy. Thank you!

Autumn care in altavista Va., is a wonderful place my granny stayed there for a while when she got sick. I was a little scared at first and apprehensive after hearing so many stories about abuse to the elderly, but after meeting the staff there I felt wonderful they were all natural nurturers. I really like the facility beacuse they allowed volunteers to come in and do all sorts of things to entertain the resident. Churches and kids were the best they come in to sing, read, and put on plays for the residents and at halloween time they had a really nice party where the residents could dress up and hand out candy. All in all autumn care is a wonderful place the only reason I gave them a four is because my granny didn't like the food.
