I am a resident of Friendship Manor Apartments. The meal plan closed down during the pandemic so that's a little bit more inconvenient. It is very convenient because the tracks are directly across the street, and buses go everywhere here in Salt Lake. I've been very pleased. I have no interest in moving anywhere else at this time. It may come about that I want assisted living but this is independent living, and I have nothing but positive things to say. The residents are all friendly or strangers, and are all pretty friendly. They're good people and I've enjoyed living there for all these years. About half the apartment has balconies, and I adore mine. I would like a little bit more room than I have but they do have two bedroom suites and one is from a house caretaker who wants to live with them or something like that. The activities are very good. They're generally instigated by the residents themselves. There are a lot of professors here and knowledgeable people who would say things like there are movies, two or three times a week, which I can't think of the right word to use, referring to the person who runs it is immensely good at doing that work. So the films are always interesting and good. A wide range of good films and then other activities are good enough. The cost of the rent is controlled so it's very much a good deal.
