Right now, my father is living in Ridgewood at Panther Creek's independent living community. It's housing for ages 65 and over, and it's based on his income. His rent is about $420 a month. The community is kind of laid back. It is mostly older people, and most of them stay for a long period. There aren't many people moving out unless they have to. The community is also always 100% full. He is in a 1-bedroom apartment, and everything is good. They just renovated the whole complex last year. For the most part, the staff is pretty good. They always help me if I need something for my dad. They've always been really good to my father and me. They do meals-on-wheels, but they need to approve that based on each apartment. My father has a housekeeper who comes to cook for him, and they go together to the grocery store, so he doesn't really get any community food at all. They have a gym. They have an office where you can go and get online. They also have washers and dryers. It's a really nice community that offers really good value.

Copperwood Senior is nice. They have all kinds of activities. They have a bus that will take the residents for shopping twice a week. They also have different trips that they plan to go on, like church on Sundays. They have a lot of different activities for everybody. They also have a computer room.
