"I toured Paris Chalet Senior Living. It was very good. The person showed me a couple of rooms and took me out back in and showed me around. It was a very nice place. When I first went in, someone was singing, and that was the short Bible sermon. There were a lot of people listening to it. I know that they have bingo. I'm not sure what the other activities are but they do have a lot of activities for the people that are there. It was very clean. There was a lot of light. My mother's vision is not good. I was glad to see that there were a lot of windows and a lot of light coming in."

"The tour at Heritage Park Village was very nice and well put together. The people there were very friendly. The facility was clean and well-arranged, so it was convenient for the folks living there. The staff was very friendly and informative. She had been the facility director for several years and had just recently moved to a different position. She was filling in for the director at the time. They were having church when I got there. They told me about the other things that they did, and the residents could pick to participate or not. The room they showed me was nice. It was a studio apartment. It had a separate area for the bedroom, a living area, and a dining area. It also had a bath with a large walk-in shower. It's not a new facility, but it was still very pleasant."

"My mom had a Brainstem Stroke January 14th. I placed mom in Legends after a month of being at PRMC. Therapy was absolutely amazing. They never let mom give up. She received encouraging words from the entire staff. Everyone treated mom like family. Bringing my mom to Legends was the BEST decision I have ever made. ...BTW....Mom went home May 20th. Thank you Legends Health Care."

"My husband is at Stillhouse Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center for rehab and he's doing great there. They have 20 physical therapists and the physical therapists are working with him and he is getting to where he can walk again. He has one leg amputated. So he has a prosthetic leg, but they're working with him. I like it because it's not very far from the hospital and he is getting excellent care. Their staff is also excellent. He has nurses who are checking on him. They have a spare bed in his room, and I spent the night there and they were in and out during the night, checking on him. He liked and enjoyed the food. If he wants cereal for breakfast, they bring him cereal and whatever he wants. It's an old facility, but it's very well clean. It does not smell and everything and it's very well taken care of."

"Brentwood Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation doesn't have many options for things like a private room. They do have them, but they're basically filled up. The best thing that I liked about it is that they were very close to the hospital, just in case they needed to get to the hospital quickly. I found that the staff members were really eager to meet the patients' needs, especially at the memory care facility. I observed them taking care of a patient while I was there."

"My sister was in Villas of Mount Pleasant. She was only there for a week. It was nice and expensive-looking. It was very well furnished. It was bigger and newer than the other facility; however, they didn't have the staff to take care of the patients. Though the office personnel and the administrator were attentive, but the people that did the patient care was very uncaring. They should have more caring personnel. With regards to meals, food wasn't brought to the room warm. I would not recommend this facility. "
