I was at Mount Vernon House. The care was very good. The employees were most thoughtful and helpful and had a very positive attitude. I was pleased with the quality of the employees that they have. The facility was always clean and well taken care of. It was thoroughly cleaned once a week. They had activities in the afternoon, sometimes it was craft, and sometimes it was a group that might come to perform. They had church service every Sunday afternoon. You could wear your own robes to breakfast, but you have to dress for lunch and dinner. One meal might be excellent, and then the next meal might not be so good.

The staff was friendly and helpful at Mount Vernon House, and they answered any question I had. The dining area wasn’t cafeteria-style; the meals were served to you. They had exercises classes, and the atmosphere was homey.
