"I did get my uncle into Sundale Senior Living. Bethany goes above and beyond. Right now, he is in a rehabilitative hospital, and they just took him there. They were so helpful. His bedframe hadn't come in time and they found a bed in the facility, and one of their workers put it together and put the mattresses on it. The director and I made it up. They helped me move him in, they helped get his stuff, and they made sure we had sheets. They were so extremely helpful. Not only helping him, but helping me because I was a strung-out mess because I just went through this with my mom. Moving in, they were extremely accommodating. The staff is caring. The place is immaculately clean. Every time I'm there, I see the housekeepers doing windows, walls, whatever. They do laundry. I picked his clothes up yesterday and he had some shirts and some underwear that were nicely folded and put on a little shelf in front of him where he sits. They come in and take the garbage out for them. They had this amazing Christmas party for the residents. Their chef is very talented and they have good food. It's a two-bedroom, so he has a roommate. They have one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and studios. He has a roommate and thank God he did, because when he had the stroke, he was on the floor and his roommate was the one that pushed the button because he couldn't. They have a beautiful courtyard out in the back with a huge fountain that's very aesthetically pleasing with the water. There's an overhang that you can sit under that has couches and patio furniture. They've got birdfeeders on the trees and a feeder for wildlife, and they've got a lot of birds and stuff out there. It is set up kind of on a hill and when you come up the driveway it's like a big beautiful mansion. When we walked in they had a big open foyer and their activities director let them play certain games. They play with Monopoly money and then whatever money they win they get to keep. If they win Monopoly money with bingo then once or twice a month they have like a country store and then they go in with their Monopoly money and they buy stuff. It's like handmade crafts and stuff like that. It's not much, but they have a blast going in there and spending their hard-earned Monopoly money. The activities director is a bundle of energy. There's a ton of stuff going on there. The whole experience was really wonderful because they helped me get in touch with the right people to get my uncle to the right place. Bethany never stopped. It wasn't just that she wanted the sale. She was truly trying to help me. It's less expensive and better than some other places. I've seen a lot of places, assisted living and nursing homes, and this is one of the best that I've seen."

"madisonville assisted living is a very nice place.with nice people but they dont spend enough money entertaining the residents the activities director can only spend three hundred dollars a month to entertain guests.but residents and employees are very vibrant and good with working with the residents i have performed there and sang songs and interacted with residents they all seem to really enjoy there stay at madisonville assisted living.if you live around the area and are interested in assisted living i would say madisonville assisted living is the way to go.ALSO THE MEALS SERVED THERE ARE DELICIOS AND HEALTHY. "My mother was at Adar Healthcare. There were a couple of staff members that I thought were very worthwhile, but the rest of the place was just terrible. The facilities were old and antiquated. They didn't even have electric moving beds. The nurses or aides had to crank the foot of the bed to move it. Sadly, it looked to me that the people who were there were there because they had no choice. A tornado hit the nicer nursing home here in our town, so there was only one left unless you want to put your family member a long way away. There were a few staff members that appeared to care. The rest of the time it was like these people can't do anything about it, so they're stuck, and it was $6,000 a month. It was horrible. They hired a new director of nurses right before we came there. Her name was Debbie, and I would say she was a very high-quality employee. She was very good. Also, there's Amanda in the business office, and both of them were very, very good, caring, and trying to do everything they could for us. Everyone else at the facility that I dealt with was extremely under-par. It was awful. The food was terrible; it looked like cat food. From what I could tell from talking to them, the management overall didn't care, and that's why it was changing. They charged enough to remodel the entire place and hired top staff, and yet there was nothing. "

"Centerville Healthcare took such good care of my 97 year old Mom with her rehabilitation. Everyone was extremely caring and so patient with her. All the Nurses listened to my Moms concerns and did there best to accommodate her. Thankful and blessed"

"Last year my grandmother broke her hip and, after it had been repaired, she had to go to a nursing home for rehabilitation. The family had heard about Ella Smither from various friends and we decided to take her there when she was discharged from the local hospital. From the moment we walked in the staff was great. The place was clean and smelled nice with no hint of any foul odors. The administrator came to meet us along with the Director of Nursing and the head of Physical Therapy. We thought at first they would let her get used to the place on the first day but we were wrong. Therapy evaluated her that morning not long after we got her settled in and that afternoon they had her walking with her walker and some slight assistance to the bathroom. Every day my then 92 year old grandmother continued to work with the facility's amazing therapy department and after 21 days, she was allowed to go home because she could now walk with minimal support of her cane. The entire staff of Ella Smither's was great! MY grandmoher loved the food, the care and especially the therapy that allowed her to return to her home, where she lives to this day all by herself. The therapy department was so patient with her and encouraged her to doas much as she could each session. THEir plan of care for her was well thought out and extremely successful. While nursing homes generally get a bad reputation , it isnt often that you hear about good work they do. But our entire family is extremely grateful to have our grandmother back home where she belongs and it is all because of the great staff and the care they provide. They are very dedicated and should be a model for how other homes take care of their residents. We would certainly recommend Ella Smither Nursing Home to anyone. "
