The facility is always clean without the “nursing home smell”. He is always clean and content for a man that has worked all his life. The meals are basically home cooked and my brother enjoys the meals. The dining room if friendly and very helpful. The staff is friendly, attentive and caring. I highly recommend this facility. "

"I was able to tour The Chatfield twice. They brought us out and fed us. I liked the way the place was set up, but it wasn't equipped to handle my wife. It seemed like there are lots of activities for them to do to keep their minds occupied. We were looking at the rooms and looking at prices. I thought that the rooms were fairly reasonable and were very nice, but it was a newer complex than the rest of them around and so you would expect it to be nicer. The meals that we ate were good, but I don't know if they serve that every day. I speak to my wife every day, and she said she gets two good meals that she likes a day. They didn't have a whole lot of outdoor spaces. There are roads on three sides of the unit, so the scenery of that place isn't as nice as some of the other ones around. It's on a kind of a wedge shaped space of land. We lived in the country and we liked to watch the birds and deer, so there won't be much of that there. However, the beauty in the organization of the place really impressed us."

"My mother resided at Pecan Bayou Nursing and Rehabilitation before her death, and I rate them very, very highly. They were 95 percent staffed. We could not have asked for a place to take better care of of her in her last days. It's very clean. It's topnotch. Their staff did a wonderful job. It's very, very open, spacious, and very clean."
