"Our first appointment at Redstone Park was on a Saturday and none of the office people were there on a Saturday, so we didn't actually get to take a review. We did go back on Monday and we talked to one of the staff, but it wasn't the staff that rents out anything. It was the girl that gave out the medicine who showed us around, but she didn't have any information on what it costs to do things. We did go back on the following Monday and we were shown around. It was very nice and clean. I talked to some of the people who were there sitting out on the porch. I asked them about the food, and they said the food was OK, not great, but not real bad either. They even told me how much they were paying, and so I was a little surprised because they were paying quite a bit less than what they were trying to rent me the room for. The lady I talked to said she was paying $2100 a month and they were wanting $3000 a month for my wife and another $800 a month for me just to stay in the same room. That included your meals and everything, but everything costs extra. If you had to have your meds delivered to you, they charge you for that. If you had to have somebody to help you with the shower, they charge you for that. They charge you for everything extra other than the room and that's crazy. The facility was very nice. It's across the street from the hospital. So if anything bad happened, you wouldn't be far away from getting help."

"My husband has been in Holiday Hills/The Allen Memory Care Center for about one year. It was brand new a year ago and state of the art. Throughout the year, I have become more impressed and grateful to the center with it's excellent staff in beautiful, home like surroundings. They provide care above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for for my husband. I live 50 miles from Coleman, Texas but it is worth ever mile driven to have the qualitybof care provided there. "

"Brownwood Skilled Nursing is a relatively new nursing facility in Brownwood, Texas. Both of my grandmothers have been residents. One of my grandmothers is a permanent resident. The other one was there temporarily when she broke her leg and needed additional assistance for a time period. My grandmother that is a resident has been a resident to three other nursing homes. This one is, by far, the best of all the places that she has been in. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are bigger than any other rooms that I have seen in other nursing homes. Plus, the decor when coming in the front door is outstanding, and it carries on into the rooms. One of the best features is the keypad entry/exit. No one can enter or exit without punching a code. The process is not hard, but it does help residents that may have alzheimer's from leaving without being noticed. The only negative remark would be the food. My grandmother is not a big fan. The few times I have visited during meal times, the food did not look too bad, but I think there is nothing better than homemade, so I can see her point! "

"Us girls had such a hard decision to place our father in a memory care facility. After talking with Kori and Chelsey our decision was easy. They made us feel confident in our decision to choose Songbird. They have been taking great care of our father and everyone has been so friendly and nice! Staff is easily reachable and helpful! "My parents were in rehab at Care Nursing and Rehabilitation. They were excellent people. Everything there was fantastic. The nurses and aides were great. The meals were fantastic. There is nothing negative I can say about it. They had exercise and a lot of physical therapy there. They had bingo, puzzles, and other games like that, so they were very good."

"My Dad was in Pecan Bayou skilled nursing for rehab. The did a wonderful job with him. The staff was so caring and thoughtful. I would recommend them for any type of rehab."
