After spending forty days in the Hospital, 27 of them in critical care, I went to Highland Manor for physical therapy. With their patience & training, they got me walking again. They were so kind & understanding. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone.

My father was admitted to this facility. From the time he was admitted he was adequately taken care of. The facility was immaculate and the staff was caring, attentive of his needs and also showed compassion for both patient and family members. Would highly recommend if you had a loved one that needed care to use this facility

My friend has been placed in Highland Manor. She is doing pretty well. I haven't been able to go in and see her, so I can only go by what she tells me. She said the food is pretty good and the staff is really nice, so she's pretty content. She said it's very clean, too. They do special things -- like on Valentine's Day, they brought them chocolate-covered strawberries and on Donut Day, they brought them donuts and stuff. They do special things that they don't really have to do, but they did. I think they go above and beyond what they have to do to make the residents feel good. The staff has been pretty good. The only problem she had was that her laundry got lost, but it was found. The staff has been courteous and helpful to me when I have spoken to them.

When my father in law was admitted, I didn't think he would stay, even for the night. But he did, and he knew he needed therapy so he could come home. It was late when he was admitted and the staff was very accommodating and reassuring. The next day when therapy started, he knew he was getting the best of care and got very motivated. In 20 days, he was totally rehabilitated and going home. The therapy department and nursing staff are second to none. Everyone we encountered, in every department, were top notch. It's so reassuring to know that Highland Manor is here when and if we need them.

I was confronted with having to choose a nursing home for my mother. The closest home to where we live was Highland Manor. It always had a good reputation, but it's a nursing home. Nursing homes are where people go to die, right? Wrong! I was so wrong. While that is a reality we all face and is necessary, who wants to think of that. My mom needed short term rehabilitation and I had no idea that Highland Manor provided that. Even the hospital staff had tried to move us elsewhere. Anyway, we chose Highland and what a great decision that was! The care was fabulous, there were virtually no odors and the therapy staff couldn't have been any better. My mom quickly got better and went home. Thank you, Highland Manor staff! We couldn't have been any happier and now it's nice to know that Highland does short term rehabilitation.

Highland Manor turned into a life saver for our family. Mom needed help and we couldn't provide it to her. She was so against leaving her home. We toured Highland and it was so clean and odor free that we were immediately put to ease. The patients looked so well cared for and the staff was friendly. Now, Mom loves it there and she doesn't even want to leave to come to any of our homes for dinner or birthday parties. What a relief and what a wonderful place. God Bless you Highland Manor.
