My mom was a resident of Graceland Care Homes Inc. It's very small. They only had four other rooms basically in the place. They can only take five people and my mom moved in and almost immediately went on to hospice because she was declining a lot, but they took excellent care of her. They have a very well-trained, compassionate staff. They knew exactly what to do to keep her comfortable during her transition. They were very welcoming to the family. We were over there a lot last week. I spent the night there. They put an air mattress in so I could be with my mother in her last week, and, she told me she felt very well taken care of. It was very clean and nice. The room has its bathroom so there was a lot of privacy for each resident. They also have a shower room where they have equipment for safely transferring very elderly or disabled people from wheelchairs into the shower and all of that. They were all well-equipped. It was very nice. They had a couple of celebrations for Christmas and New Year's that happened while my mom was there. They had a big feast and all the families of the residents came. It was really lovely and the food was excellent.
