I stayed at Hennis House after hip surgery for rehab. I do not have the words for the care I received. It was wonderful. The nurses, rehab group and the chefs were all fantastic. They would just be walking past my room and would stop and ask how I was and did I need anything. Hennis House is exceptionally clean and they even did my laundry! The food was good a big selection and they would make food if you needed something special or just didn't care for what they were preparing. Can not say enough about Hennis House and if need be I'd go back in a heartbeat!!! Thanks to all who took care of me!!!

My mom and my brother are both living in the Hennis Care Centre of Bolivar. They each have their own rooms and they are very roomy. Both of them seem to like it. It's peaceful and it's clean. The staff is very outgoing and friendly. They just seem to go out of the way. I looked at a lot of different care centers before and a lot of them that we went into, you could tell they had that smell, but Hennis Care Centre of Bolivar does not have that. They quickly take care of their residents. Their food is tasteful and flavorful. There's a large variety and if they don't like what's being served, they offer alternatives or they can just tell them what they want. It's three hot meals and they give a snack in the evening before they go to bed. Their activities are limited due to COVID, but they still have them. She goes to bingo twice a week and there's some type of church service. They have a hairdresser, so my mom gets her hair done there, and every few months, an optometrist comes in. If you need glasses or get your glasses adjusted, they take care of that, too.

I was at the rehab center in Bolivar. I was there for two weeks and I can’t say enough good things about this facility. The nursing staff was amazing as well as the aids and physical therapy personnel. The rooms are great and so is the food. My insurance made me go home and as much as I wanted to be home, I didn’t want to leave.

Hennis Care Center was closer to my home. It was very nice and clean with no smell. The staff was very friendly, and I have my mom on the wait list right now. I talked with some whose parents and loved ones are there, and it was highly recommended. The food was very good, and I looked at the activities calendar; they keep them very active there.
