My mother spent the last two weeks of her life in pain because hospice (which she was told was available there), was not allowed in during the pandemic. My Aunt has been hospitalized twice in 8 months for severe dehydration. She is not going back.

My sister is in an assisted living room at Elderberry Health Care. It's a single room with its own bathroom. It impresses me in the sense that the nurses seem to be very hands-on and they provide good nursing care. The psychologists, administrators, and activity directors are all good. They bring a lot of churches in and my sister can play the piano there. Some of the activities happen to fit very well with her. She has never complained about the food and I can hardly believe that. It's an older facility, but it's a beautiful setting.

This is a small facility that is located in a beautiful area of Marshall. I noticed that the rooms were decorated very cozy and reminded me of being at home. The patients seemed to be eager to join in the activities programs that were offered by Elderberry Health Care. The nursing staff were very warm and welcoming every time they saw us and you could tell the patients truly enjoyed the attention that the staff provided. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.
