"This location has a great activities director. The property is complete with walking trails and a fitness course. They have 2 stocked trout pond. This is very nice because my grandpa loves to fish, and he can here. They really take in to consideration what people enjoy doing. He seems very happy here with all of the freedom of living at home with the conveinence of having assistance when needed. I would give the food I have tried a 8 out of 10 and its great that they have many options. "

"The family really loves them.The employees there are so kind. It is a very clean facility. Grandpa really loves it there. At first he was really worried about living in someones eles home but now he loves it, the people there adore him.He loves the attention and I love the fact that he is happy. My favorite thing about Andrews, North Carolina - Staying Independent, Oak Park Guest Home Adult Care Home, is that ,they have a team of people to handle the medical appointments, the prescriptions, the day-to-day pain management and so much more. This means I can just slow down and be with my grandfather during this difficult time. We now have time to talk and I know it means the world to him.I love the fact that grandpa can live independently and still get the care he needs.I would recomend this place to any one who is looking for a safe, trust worthy, clean, friendly place, that there loved one can be happy and comfortable at!They are a very small facility but that is better because Grandpa gets the attention he deserves! "My aunt is in Clay County Care Center. It has been very good. They are very caring. They stay in contact with me on a regular basis. The food always appears to be very good. Every time I visit, there are plenty of foods and my aunt has always said it is good. It is a county facility, so it is not the most luxurious and not the most modern place, but the care has been very good. One of the doctors that has been caring for my relative has also called me on one occasion, spends a lot of time on the phone with me, and answers all my questions. So, as far as the care, I have no complaints. The only problem I am having is that it is 8 hours away, and I want to have her closer. However, if I cannot find a place that is closer and offers the same level of care, I will not move her. "

"I visited this facility and my mom is moving in here. I particularly chose this facility because they have an Alzheimer's care unit. My daughter also works here and so she can look after my mother. The staff was good and accommodating. Although this facility is a bit expensive, i like the care that they provide and the location of the facility. I guess my mom will like it here and she'll be fine. I would recommend this facility especially if your loved one is dealing with Alzheimer's. "

"My husband was in the memory care unit of Hayesville House, the last three months of his life, and I put in the paper how wonderful they were to him. That is a wonderful facility for people with memory problems. It's excellent in every way. Some people had been there for a long time. It's for memory care, but once you get to where you are bedridden, they keep you all through the last stages of your life. They keep you even when you get to a point of being in a nursing home. Once you're in there, they don't send you out to go to a nursing home when you get to that point. Even hospice can come in the last stages of one's life. What I liked best about them is their care for the patients. Not only for my husband, but I would also see the way they treated other people. When my husband passed in January, I didn't have his memorial until April, but the manager of the facility and her assistant all came to my house for the memorial. The food was good, the care was good, and there was never a smell in there. My husband's room was kept clean all the time, and they kept him clean, too. They have a beauty and barber shop. During Halloween, they let people dress up. I also went down and had Thanksgiving dinner with them, and it was really good. They take care of the people. It was not just my husband, but everyone in there got that kind of care. We were private-pay, but a lot of people were on Medicaid, and they accepted them, too."

"My husband moved to Mountain View Manor. They're concerned about their people. Every time he gets sick or he gets hurt himself or whatever, they call and let me know. So they are concerned about keeping in touch with me, that part I like about it. They're a very clean facility. It's a very inviting atmosphere when you go there. It's just a nice place. I like it. They have a lot of activities that they do with the patients and stuff. Even with the activities they have different therapy stuff they always have to do all the time. They do excellent work. The service is good. Meals are good, but my husband's got dementia, so sometimes he might be eating or something like that he likes all the time and they bring it to him the next time he doesn't. The food looks good because I've eaten there several times. The facility is very impressive."
