"The staff here is so respectful and considerate of their resident's physical and mental conditions. Just watching them gain strength through rehab is really uplifting. This facility is highly recommended for short and long term care needs. The staff members knock on each resident's room door as if they were visiting their resident's individual homes, giving them the care they need and the respect they deserve "

"I toured the Village at Woods Edge. It was a nice, beautiful place. It's in a great location. It was just the community itself, and I'm only 63, and most of these people were upper-middle-class to well-to-do elderly people. I just didn't see myself blended into the community that well. It was quite far out from where I wanted to be. Franklin is almost an hour from my 93-year-old mother, whom I like to be close to. Everything else was spot-on. They had apartments, or they had cottages, one to two. You had your choice. They offer a lot of amenities, food programs, and entertainment. The person who gave the tour was a very nice lady. She's pleasant and very informative. I had no complaints. It's very green. The shrubs in the outdoor facility and the exterior of it are maintained very clean. Everybody who worked there, like the management and all, you could tell who was management and who lived there because the uniforms and what they wore were different than the community. They were open to questions. I suggest this to anybody who is looking for an older group."

"My mother-in-law has moved into Hampton Manor. It's excellent. The staff is very attentive, and they always call us about any issues. We have no complaints. She eats very well every day. The building is in great condition, very clean, and well taken care of. They had Christmas carols, they did cookie decorating, and they had a Christmas tree and a decorating contest. They have a salon, several activity rooms, a garden outside, and a covered porch. It's very nice. It's a great deal."

"I stayed at Emporia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for eight months. It was not ideal because the staff seemed a little bit overwhelmed, and the facility could use a little bit more spit and polish on cleaning. Other than that, they did pretty well. They had basic activities like ice cream socials and bingo, and they had a TV area and whatnot. It was okay. The food was excellent; however, it needed to be warmer. They didn't have microwaves for the residents to use, so that would be my suggestion."

"My mother has just checked into Scotland House. They offer various activities like arts and crafts, bingo, and religious services. They're very courteous. It is a new community. It is clean, neat, and well laid-out. My mother is in in a private room that is very spacious. It can accommodate a full or a queen-sized bed, a table, a dresser, and a nightstand. The room has a very wide bathroom, and it is wheelchair accessible. It is very nice room size. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you don't like what's on the menu, you can order soup or a sandwich. My mom seems to love the food so much better than where she was at. She also enjoys what activities they have."

"My mother-in-law is already in a facility. We chose Carolina Rest Home because it was close to home, it was really clean, and we like it. We knew some people that were there, and they were very satisfied with it. We are really happy with it. We think it is a nice place. My mother-in-law is treated very well. I know they play a lot of games and sometimes they go shopping. She plays a lot of bingo -- she likes that. They play cards if you like playing cards. Everybody I ever met there is really very nice and loves to really help. I'm really satisfied. I think mother-in-law is satisfied too, and that's what's important. The location is good because it is just outside of city limits. The people there are very friendly, and I've never seen any of the patients like they were mad. The employees all seem to be happy, so I don't see of anything they can improve on. My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's, but they treat her like she is a decent person. "
