Support Ministries Ahana House is a beautiful facility. It is small and quaint but extremely well kept, and it sits nicely in a good neighborhood in Waterford. When we were considering this place for my grandmother, we were taken aback by the attentiveness of the staff, but thought it might just be a marketing ploy. My grandmother has now been living there for over a year and we can safely say that the service is just as good as was promised to us. The nurses are friendly, knowledgeable, and respond promptly. My only complaint is that it can sometimes be difficult to schedule a visit and consistently meet with the same staff due to their rotating nursing schedule. The food is excellent and the cooks are able to cater directly to dietary needs (and picky eaters!) They do group meetings on Mondays and foster a sense of community among the residents. I've recommended Ahana House to a few friends and plan to continue to do so.
