Liberty Green Senior Housing is a 55 and older community. It's just apartments. No special needs or anything. No added benefits. They have pull cords in the bedrooms and the bathrooms for assistance, handrails throughout the buildings, and elevators. When we first moved in there, they would plow the parking lot and clear off the cars for you. Now you have to pay for the services for them to clear your cars. I hardly ever see the staff, but when they had issues reaching my parents, they reached out to me. They keep phone numbers up-to-date and everything. They don't provide food. Their room is pretty nice, except the kitchen is a little small. The living room is a good size. The bedroom is a good size if you want to put two twin beds in there. The bathroom is ideal for somebody who has mobility issues because they have a walk-in shower where you can put a chair in there. They have one of those shower heads that you can bring up and down to your own level, and they have grab bars everywhere in the bathroom. It's gotten better over the years because they did just replace the carpets and stuff, but they don't have any events anymore for getting the community together. My parents are not thrilled being there. They said if it wasn't for some of the other residents who live there, they would be looking elsewhere. My parents go to the senior citizen center for activities. They have buses that come there to bring them to shops, and if you have mobility issues, they have assigned parking for you.
