My wife has been a resident since mid-November 2024. I have had ample opportunity over several months to meet with various staff members regarding my wife's physical situation, and to observe and interact with aides and nurses, all of whom have impressed me with their compassionate, caring and professional interactions with the residents. The food is above average in quality, quantity and taste, and is routinely delivered in a timely manner. Most of all I am impressed with the fact that my wife is comfortable and well cared for at Aristacare, and has repeatedly told me that she is very happy there. I am convinced that I've made the right choice for my wife's care and well being.

Rooms were not cleaned regularly. Bathrooms were also dirty. Evening staff were few and did not attend patients with care. I would never send a loved one into these halls.

I'm in a nursing home/physical rehab place right now at AristaCare at Manchester. I have to get my hip replaced, and I could do physical therapy right here. The staff is always changing, so you never know who you're gonna have. Sometimes you have really good ones, and sometimes you don't. It's hit or miss. The food's not bad, but every week's the same. Monday might be burgers. Next day might be fish. Next day might be sandwiches. Sometimes they have chicken and stuff like that. There's not a lot to do. Basically, I give them all my money. I go on Medicaid here, so they take my disability check and whatever pension I get left. They give me $50 a month, so it's not really that great. You can't do much with $50 a month.

My mother was in AristaCare at Manchester for rehab. I wasn't really in there because of COVID, but I wasn't really happy with the care there. She's had a lot of issues pretty much all around really, between staff, and getting back to me, and issues that weren't being taken care of. I would not recommend the place. There were no activities, the food was horrible according to her, and they really didn't do much with her. I had a problem with getting her physical therapy for a while, so I had to keep calling there to make sure they were working with her to do that. That was a struggle; it was just a nightmare. The staff was very unresponsive in getting back to you. All around it is not a good place. Even with the pandemic, you weren't allowed to come in, and they didn't even have a room where you could come inside, like an isolated area. All the visitations are outside, so I wasn't even able to visit my mom there because my mom can't come outside. That's something they should have worked on. From my mom's description of the place, she said it was pretty depressing inside there. It looked like an older building that they tried to convert into a rehab. You could tell the front entrance of the place wasn't really kept up or anything as far as the hallway, the door, and the panels, and it doesn't look like it was really maintained very well. I wouldn't recommend sending a loved one there -- for temporary stay, sure, but not for a long-term stay.
