The facility is run down but relatively clean. There are some excellent nurses and aides that are overworked but genuinely care during the day shift. They are always short staff. The night staff is terrible. My mother was genuinely afraid at times. I spoke to the administrator, several times, who will tell you what you want to hear but nothing changes. My mother said that she was given the incorrect medication one evening and called me in a panic. The nurse came in the room and was quite fresh to her and he asking who she was calling. I was unable to get the hospital to test for the medication as we had no idea what it was other than seizure medication (she was told this by a new nurse). My mom passed a week later.
