My step Dad is a long term care patient at Pleasant Hill. He had been in some other places in the area and this is hands down the best. I feel like the staff is genuinely kind and they do care about the quality of the care they provide to your loved one. Because I live out of state communication is the key, they always keep my informed and when I call are there to answer any questions. Having you loved one be in a long term care facility is never an easy choice but they were there every step of the way and I am glad that I found them.

My mother in law was in Pleasant Hill memory care for 4 months. During that time her health deteriorated as her medication was not administered correctly. Further the facility told us test results required for her medication and condition were normal when in fact they were not. They were in a continual state of decline until she finally went to the hospital and never went back. We have since transferred her to a facility that is caring for her properly and keeps an eye on her labs and medication and she is doing so much better. When we chose the facility we were shown a printed calendar stating they held activities for residents in memory care, however we never observed during any of our visits or any family visits, which occurred several times weekly, a single activity for residents. They updated the calendar monthly but never did any of the activities. TV in an alcove where they keep it dark was the extent of the activities in Memory Care. Staff seemed to lack good communication. Techs were concerned to speak up as nurses were frustrated with them and we were told many times by different techs that for anything to be done for the patients families needed to complain frequently. Unfortunately even with us trying to speak to them and support them every way we could, they neglected her care and ignored her medical needs blaming it on the condition which was not the case and has been reversed since receiving quality care.

My wife is staying at Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. It's very good. When she went there, she couldn't eat, couldn't speak, couldn't stand. Now she talks and she eats a little bit, and they're still working on her to get her to stand and she's doing that better. The staff were attentive, very helpful, and answered all questions that I have. It's an older facility because they have old rooms, and this is just a room. The living atmosphere is good, and the community is great. Pleasant Hill is a small town, and everybody's friendly and happy, those that I've run into. My wife just started eating two days ago, and she likes it. She's still getting fed through her feeding tube, but everything else she's eaten, like half the food. She is getting excellent care.

My dad is in Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, a long-term care facility. We like their care and service. They're very attentive, they're taking great care of my dad, and there's been great communication. I've only been inside the front office because they're under quarantine. The outside is nice, it's decorated for fall. From what I've seen, it seems to be clean, pretty, very homey, and very comfortable. Every time he asks or I ask for something, we seem to get answers pretty quickly. They're great at returning my calls and seem to be easy to work with. My dad says the food is good. I am very satisfied with how he's being treated there.
