I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
This facility is a good place. It offers a lot of different activities. It has great areas for friends and family to come visit. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating was because of poor communication with staff. Not only with the residents, but also among staff. It's very hard to get ahold of any staff member on the phone. There was an incident that a work order was put in to fix something and when no one showed for 5 days it was discovered that the work order was never put in their system to be done.

I visited this facility
I liked the Affinity at Ramsey. The layout of the apartment that I'm interested in is very nice. The rooms were a good enough size where I could get all my furniture in them. You have underground parking that's included as well. I liked the location of the dog park right outside the building, so you don't have to walk a distance. Nanea toured me and she was fantastic. They've got a courtyard patio, a barbecue area, a lake by walking areas, relatively close shopping areas, an exercise gym, a swimming pool, gardens where they planted some tomatoes, a hot tub, pool tables, and a bar that you can use. It's a nice facility.

I visited this facility
I rated the facility based on independent living standards, which I felt should receive an over all rating between 4 to 5. However, I was not looking for an independent living only facility for my mother since I needed a place that offered Assisted living services including food services and the ability to provide memory care on site when those services will be needed in the future. If you are over 55 years old, retired, and into traveling, then this place is great as a rest period during those times you are on the road. The rooms are small compared to single home living, so spend a extended time in the facility may be a little claustrophobic.

I visited this facility
When I walked in the front door of Affinity at Ramsey, the air was clean and fresh. The height of the ceilings was wonderful. It was like walking into the Hilton Hotel, so I appreciated the feeling. I actually signed on the dotted line on Saturday, so I'm going to be moving in this September. There are so many amenities; it's overwhelming. They have underground heated parking. They have a saltwater pool and a saltwater hot tub. They have two outside areas upstairs on the top floor where you can sit around the fire, have a drink, barbecue, and visit. They have an indoor theater that has 20 seats in it, and they show movies in there. The amenities go on and on and on and on and on and on. It was heavenly.

I visited this facility
I toured Affinity at Ramsey. It was beautiful, but it was too expensive for me. I didn't meet any residents. The staff was pleasant and nice, no complaints. For the price, I thought the rooms were small. They had a lot of amenities, beautiful amenities, but I don't want to pay for all the amenities.
