My mother has moved into Deephaven Woods Senior Living. It is a beautiful place and well-kept. She has a nice 1-bedroom apartment, with a living room and a kitchen. All the meals are provided. For her, it's perfect. It's within walking distance of a church, and they have a service once a week at the facility. They have lots of entertainment. They had school kids coming to sing at the assisted living place. It is clean and comfortable. It's been good. She's a very, very picky woman, but she says the food is great. The handyman was very good about helping get all the furniture placed and things on the wall. They are a little shorthanded like most places are, so sometimes her laundry wasn't folded one day. Some things are a little slow getting done, but they've been very pleasant and helpful.

I liked that Deephaven Woods Senior Living was a small community, and the Catholic presence was strong. The staff was attentive, and the place was immaculate. The staff took the time to answer all our questions. They did not hurry us. I saw staff one-on-one with individuals. We got to see a class going on, and it was only a small group, but they were very attentive. It was very peace-filled and calm. They have a young high school girl baking fresh cookies. I know quite a few of the residents there, and the food is very good, though I never experienced it. The shower facility for my brother-in-law was perfect to walk in. There is a chapel and mass. They have a movie room. I liked the cleanliness and the gardens. It provided so much. On top of it, the children's school is right there, and I know a lot of the residents can just sit on the porch in here and watch the kids. I know that the school kids will come and visit the facility.

Staff is friendly and helpful. It is easy to get questions answered. People know residents by name.

I have been to at least ten communities. This is by far the best. We moved my mom here after six months at another place. Deephaven Woods keeps their promises, they are not pushing and care about my mom. I highly recommend Deephaven Woods.

By far the best care around. The people genuinely care about my mom. Every one is very nice, no one tries to get us to buy mroe services than we need. I have heard friends say this happens at places. Nicest memory care apartments out there.

I visited Deephaven Woods Senior Living. We like it quite a bit. We had a very good experience with the person that was showing us around. She was very helpful. What I like about this place was that everything was new and fresh. We like that.
