I toured Sterling Oaks Senior Apartment. They have a really nice area for social things. I didn't see a whole lot of the other facilities, but what I liked about their apartments is that they are for seniors only, no pets, but they have real nice screened-in porches on each one, and they're nice sized. I like that it's all on one level, and I like that they have a nice big social area. I didn't look for a workout room and other things. As soon as the staff said that you can't have a pet or a dog, I just crossed it off of my list, because I have to have someplace where I can have my doggy. The room that I went to was very nice and very up to date. As far as management, it's managed by a real estate office that has a management section to it. They're more expensive than some of the others, and yet they don't allow dogs.
