Serenity Place is very clean inside. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with plenty of storage. They have an on-site laundromat. They also have a library, and they hold community events there once a month. It seems very nice inside. They told me I didn't qualify, though, and I don't know why, since they're income-based. They didn't give me an explanation. I just did an application for them, they said they'll get back to me, and I got a letter from them saying that I didn't qualify. I have tried to get in there twice, and I don't know what's going on. I have my social security and a part-time job. I figure with it being income-based and subsidized, it should not be as hard to get into since you only pay 30 percent of your rent. Their staff members were nice, but it was more business for them. They're not really personable with you.
