My aunt still had on her gold wedding band. I told her nurse to make sure she gives it to me. The day she passed away, the ring was gone. I can only say what kind of person would take it off her finger when she was dead. I am furious. The medical examiner said she had Covid. We were not told that & my aunt was not isolated. I was there visiting her. We were not alerted of this at Medilodge.

I recently came to St. Clair Lodge to treat the residents dental needs through 360care. I had the privilege of working with Sherry, the social worker assigned to assist our dental team. She was amazing! She helped us with all of the residents by transporting them to and from their rooms, displaying care and compassion for each and every resident we treated, and showing a sincere and genuine interest in the residents dental needs. She made the experience pleasant and productive for everyone from the dental team to the residents. I give my hats off to her and want to send a big thank you to her for all of her kindness, caring, and compassion. She is a gem at this facility and I can tell that she truly cares about the over all well being of all the residents. I appreciated her efforts and knowledge to assist us in treating these individuals who deserve the very best in health care. THANK YOU Sherry-Keep leading by example- you are valued!! :)

Medilodge did a great job insuring that our grandmother was taken care of, both mentally and physically. While the location often was not the most pleasant (some odors, but to be expected in a facility such as this), it had the atmosphere that the residents were the primary concern, and not budget. Staffing always seemed adequate, and all the nurses we interacted with had a solid understanding of each resident, the facility itself, and the medicine needed to ensure that each resident was taken care of properly. Every time we were there for a visit, someone greeted us on entry, and also answered any questions we had about her status, upcoming events, any new issues, etc. While it's never a good situation to be in, Medilodge did a good job making us feel comfortable, and letting us know that she was comfortable as well. They definitely earned their stripes having to deal with the multitude of residents and their visitors!
