"I toured the memory care. I thought it was beautiful, warm, and welcoming. It had a lot of curb appeal. The woman there was very professional, very knowledgeable of the needs of people, and very good with people. We got to watch her in action a little bit. The dining area looked very clean. There's a schedule on the board that's filled with activities, and it changes daily. They have everything, from exercising to crafting to listening to stories to dancing."

"My mother is in memory care at Magnolia Meadows. It was better than I was expecting it to be. It's very clean and a nice size. There aren't too many residents, but more than a handful. The director is very forward about everything. The apartment is an adequate size for a queen-size bed, a reclining chair, and some other items and it also has its own private half bathroom. The staff members are not overly friendly, but that might just be because we don't know them yet. They provide three meals a day, they provide her with transportation when she needs to go places, and they do her laundry. They have movies at night and cards and things like that once in a while. They have a personal chef who's there to make three meals a day and he's there five days a week, so he provides the meals right away right there homemade. He makes extra meals so that they can heat them on the weekends when he is not there. It's a very homey feeling dining room."

"Kettle Moraine Gardens was beautiful, bright, and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful. The staff during the tour was very knowledgeable and very compassionate. We were there at mealtime, and the food looked wonderful. They had a garden. It was a stimulating environment for memory care. It was a disappointment to find out they had no availability."

"My dad is doing very well here. So far, so good. The staff members are very helpful and very kind. Everybody seems to really like their job and like the residents and engage with residents constantly. There are lots of activities for them. They have been very cooperative. They are doing an amazing job. They provide all of my dad's personal care. They also drive him to doctor's appointments. They have three meals plus snacks."

"We toured Gables on the Pond Assisted Living for my mom. It was very welcoming from the time that we walked in. The activity director was the one that ended up giving us a tour. It was very clean and very inviting. She was very energetic, and she got other residents involved in the tour. We were able to go into a resident's room who invited us in to see how it was decorated, and we could personally ask them how they liked living there and if they would recommend it from one resident to another. I think that that person's testimonial was very telling. It was very well kept and didn't feel like a nursing home. It was very nice. We did not try their food as it was in the middle of the day, and it was between meals, but I did ask the resident if the food was good, and she said yes. We got handed a menu and we could tell what a monthly menu looks like and what kind of food offerings they give. It was just an open area. Just off the kitchen, is the activities area as well as dining. So, just a very open concept. Shannon, the activity director who toured us, was a great representation of the company. She's upbeat and got a ton of energy. One of the amenities is that they have entertainment, and I think she is just the key to the success of the place. She knew all the residents and personal stuff about them. She individualizes things for them. I think she made the tour. I would think every assistant living could use a Shannon. I think she makes the program, and the residents love her, they just have a big smile when she comes around in the room. It looked nice externally, as well as internally."

"ABridge Care Cottage of Chilton is a nice place. They could maybe do a little better with cleaning the bathrooms. Otherwise, it's nice there. When I go visit my partner who's there, they haven't had activities, but I know they do something once or twice a day. The staff are all nice. They all know what they're doing. They could use some improvement in their meals though. It's not like a home-cooked meal. It's more like fish sticks, like things from boxes that are frozen. I consider their price expensive."

"I toured. It was really small. They only had 8 or 10 rooms, so it's limited on the number of people there. The people that I spoke with were friendly, courteous, and cordial. But what I didn't like was, because it was so small, it would be limited with activities and interaction with other people and stuff."

"My mother was at North Ridge Medical & Rehab for 6 weeks. The layout of the facility and the food was good, but I didn’t like it because she wasn’t well taken care of. We had to take her by ambulance to the hospital for a drug overdose. They had either given her too much or the wrong drug."

"I liked that Serenity Villa V was a smaller community. It had private baths with showers. It had a lot of activities where the residents not only participated in the community but outside of the community as well. They had a therapy pet. I just really, really liked it. The rooms were fine and adequate. They were very similar to other communities I viewed. They had a dorm-size refrigerator in each room. What was very important to us was the private baths. They had a very cozy gathering space with a fireplace. They had a very inviting dining room. They had a very open community space that looked out onto their patio. Beyond the patio, which was very nice, was a little body of water. So, it was very picturesque."

"The negative about Harbor Campus is it's a rehab of an old hospital, so the facility is not as nice. They did a reasonably good job of revamping it. When you go in, you feel like you are going into an old hospital. I don't think you can cover that up. The atmosphere in there was not as nice. One of the things that is a benefit is you didn't have to move into an assisted living room when you need more assistance. They said they could service you in your independent living room for quite a lot of nursing care like doing pills and physical therapy, all that kind of stuff. I think as long as you were mobile enough, if you weren't mostly bedridden kind of thing or anything like that, you didn't have to move out of independent living. All the staff was nice."

"My elderly mother in law was recently looking for a new place that would allow her to be around older people in a more senior friendly environment without being a nursing home. From the moment I walked to the front door I was greeted with warm hellos and smiles from staff and the residents. The facility really takes serious being a man or woman of leisure in their twilight years. There are a few seating chairs in front of the facility that made you just want to sit down and relax. The facility offers a girth of programs, including exercise regimens, guest lecturers, gardening, and unique games, along with the traditional appurtenances. Not only are they concerned for the patients but they are in constant communication with the family on current issues with my elderly mother in law. The amenities and facilities are great and I cannot say one negative thing or experience that I have witnessed while visiting there. Food quality has always been exceptional and it is good for every resident living there. I would recommend this place for all people looking for a nice place. "

"My mom moved into Lincoln Village Senior Living over a month ago. She is in a wheelchair and is paralyzed, so they're doing the best they can. I'm not allowed to visit her, so I don't know about the staff, and she doesn't talk much. From the outside it looks nice, but I can't see her so I don't know what the inside looks like. She had told me once she went to play bingo one day. It's expensive for anything, but they're about the same as the others."
