"My parents moved to TR independent living 5 1/2 years ago; my mother and aunt both now live in the Assisted Living area. The apartments/rooms are lovely and well-maintained; staff responds quickly to issues. My relatives have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff, and my interactions have always been positive. If I had concerns and brought them to upper level people, they were handled appropriately. Plenty of activities and lots of socialization going on. Even Assisted Living folks go out to eat as a group (if they want to) and have various entertainment coming in. Recent efforts with nearby Embe preschool are very popular with residents."

"I'm at The Inn on Westport now. I like it very much. They serve three meals a day. I have a two-bedroom apartment, and it is very nice. The staff is really nice and very helpful. They have bingo, they show movies, and they have a beauty salon and a couple of libraries. They accept visitors, but there are restrictions."

"My father is still living in Grand Living at Lake Lorraine. It's all pretty good. The room is private, and they provide meals for the residents."

"I moved into Touchmark At All Saints, and it's been very good. They have a lot of activities. They have a couple of different areas where you can dine. They have transportation. They have nursing staff when you need them. It's a large complex, so I haven't seen all of it yet. It's a very nice place. They have a moving coordinator who helps you get settled, answers questions, and checks back with you the first few days to make sure things are going well. The staff members that provide the care are very friendly. I have a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, a bathroom, and a small kitchen. They allow pets, so I was able to bring my cats with me. They have a two-bedroom and a studio. I'm in a motorized wheelchair, so I needed the newer part where there is a wider door. The food is very good."

"My mom and brother live in Dow Rummel Independent Living. I was there yesterday for a visit and had such a wonderful time with them. Every staff member call them by name, residents visit with us when we walk by. Dinner at Covell's was wonderful. The facility is spotless! They truly love living there and that is so heartwarming for all of their family! I read the calendar and I am always so impressed with the monthly activities that are available for the residents. For October they have a "homecoming" week & how fun this will be! I will be coming to Sioux Falls for the Fall Festival after seeing this. "
