"Mom has been here for a couple of weeks now. We fell in love with this place. The experience has been wonderful. The people are super accommodating and nice. Mom raves about the amazing food every day. Their cleaning abilities are not up to our standards, but it is what it is and Mom loves it there. She has a big lakefront window, so she's quite pleased. Her room is huge, bright, and airy. She has her own bathroom and a microwave. The dining area looks lovely. It looks like an actual restaurant with little menus. The residents have a choice if they don't want what's in the meal plan. They've got many different varieties of other food that they can choose from. It's very clean and has a very inviting atmosphere. They've got people that come in and sing, they had Oktoberfest about a week ago, and they've got something going on daily."

"The tour at The Terraces of Chico was wonderful. I loved it. I loved the people. They were so friendly. Everybody was awesome. But the price of the room, the one that has the kitchen and everything kind of combined was very, very expensive. And I'm looking for something that isn't quite that expensive. That was the main thing, cause I'm alone a lot. But the people came up to me. I thought I would have to seek them out and ask them how they liked it. But instead, many of them came up to me and told me how comfortable and wonderful it is. And I liked all the activities and stuff that I could see, like the puzzles, and all the different things people were doing. I thought the people were just lovely. There was a lot of walking and I'm not good at walking. And the fact that you don't have medical care might be a problem. I'm healthy but I don't know how long that'll last. The unit looks lovely. I had no problem with it because I don't need a bedroom. I sleep in a recliner because my back hurts too much to lie down. So I sleep in a recliner and I can do that in the living room. It would have been perfect for me, but the price is very high. Everything looked really good. I liked the exercise area, and I like working on puzzles, and they're everywhere. I like that. And I like the people. I like people my age, and so it was nice to be around people that were like me."

"My husband has moved into Roseleaf Gardens. What made us choose them, one was the price, it's a little less expensive, and they were so available to me. They're nice, very thoughtful, and caring. They have outdoor patio areas, they have a sports pub, and have a card room. They have activities directors for exercise and games. I think they play bingo and trivia games. They have movies and jigsaw puzzles for them. They have lots of lots of things. They're wonderful. The staff is fabulous. They are so kind and so wonderful. The facility is very nice and very well-kept. It's a very good value. This was the best that I saw."
