The reason why we chose Heatherwood at Kings Way is because you can buy the unit. All the people we dealt with there were lovely. Our visit there was very nice, and the apartments were really lovely. I liked the second floor with the cathedral ceiling. They have just about everything you need, they have an exercise room, a theater, a bistro, cafeteria, and a big dining room. They also have a nurse that comes three times a week, we don't need anything else. They provide 20 dinners or 30 lunches a month. What stood out when I first went there was that I liked the size of the units, we looked at a 2-bedroom, and it was the largest place we'd seen. The person who accommodated us was very knowledgeable and helpful. She had been in the business for years so she knows the ins and outs of the place. I have a friend who lives there and I would go and play bridge over there.

I toured Heatherwood At Kings Way. I just think it's fabulous, so we chose it for everything. It's beautiful. It was expensive, but everything was included. It's gorgeous. Everybody's friendly. I highly recommend it. Everything's organized, and everything's top-notch.

I went to Heatherwood At Kings Way. If somebody hadn't been leaving the office at the time I was there, I'd still be looking for a place to park. So, parking I think was a severe problem there. I rounded up parking about 40 yards away from the front office, and I walked with a cane, so I didn't like that. I was waiting for a real estate agent. I didn't know I was seeing a real estate agent. The meeting was at 11:00. I got there at 10:00 and she got there a quarter past because she thought the meeting was at 11:30. She showed me the building, but I didn't get to see a pool. I didn't even know there was a pool until I read some of the brochures I got this morning. She didn't show me the pool. She didn't show me any menus in the cafeteria. I didn't get any monthly activity schedules, so I assume they do things here, but I didn't get any of that. So all in all, I wouldn't consider this place at all. They were selling you the room. The rug needed to be replaced. It was a mess. It was a two-bedroom place, but it wasn't the biggest one that you could get. They had a full kitchen. She was nice, but all she did was show me the room and we left. I didn't see anything at all about the facility. She told me that it came with a parking garage, but she didn't tell me anything about the facility itself. It was a nice building. When I was waiting for the woman to come, I walked out and saw some of the outdoor gardens, but I walked out on my own to see that.

I liked everything about Heatherwood at Kings Way. It was just quite lovely. They showed us the library, the dining room, the outside patio, and the swimming pool. They showed us a unit that is currently for sale, and the meeting rooms. The staff was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. The lady answered all my questions. The facility was extremely clean.
